'Thanks for making me realise it was your show and you have power to throw out anybody anytime,' writes Sunil Grover aka 'Gutthi'
Looks like the fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover has taken quite an ugly turn. While Kapil has spoken to several media houses on the matter and had tried presenting his side in a long and elaborate Facebook post, Sunil Grover had maintained a dignified silence all this while. Kapil had also posted an apology tweet on his Twitter account writing, "Paji @WhoSunilGrover sry if I hurt u unintentionally.u knw vry well how much I luv u. M also upset .love n regards always:)"
Finally, Sunil aka 'Gutthi' or 'Dr. Mashoor Gulaati' (as his character is popularly known in The Kapil Sharma Show) has broken his silence on the matter and has replied to Kapil in an open letter which he posted on his official Twitter account.
Here's what his reply read:
"Bhai ji! Yes, You hurt me deeply. Working with you has been a learning experience. Just one advice start respecting human beings also apart from animals. All are not as successful as you are. All are not as talented as you are. But if they all are talented like you, who will value you. so, have some gratitude towards their existence. And also, If someone is correcting you, don't abuse that person. Refrain from using foul language In front of women who have nothing to do with the stardom you carry, they are by chance just travelling with you. Thanks for making me realise it was your show and you have power to throw out anybody, anytime. you are the wittiest, and the best in your field. But don't act like a 'God'.' Take good care of yourself. Wish you lot more success and fame."
For those who've come in late, Kapil Sharma, in a drunk state, had apparently abused Sunil Grover, both verbally and physically on an Air India flight while they were travelling back to India from Australia. Reportedly, Kapil was abusing Chandan Prabhakar on the flight when Sunil intervened and tried to stop him. This supposedly angered Kapil even more and he started abusing Sunil. The fight took such an ugly turn that the cabin crew had to intervene.
Earlier, it was reported that post that unfortunate incident, Sunil is planning to quit the show. On the other hand, Kapil had told us that there's nothing like Sunil's quitting the show. As per other reports, Kapil had also said that he doesn't remember anything about the said incident and that he has had fights with Sunil before and it's like their family matter.
Here's what Kapil had posted on his Facebook account:
"Hi.. good morning friends .. was celebrating my best time n suddenly I heard a news about me n sunil paji fighting.. first of all see where it is coming from.. what r the intentions behind this.. if I fought with him in the flight then who saw it n informed u.. is he trustworthy..? Some people enjoy these kind of stuff.. we eat together .. we travel together.. I meet my brother once in a year.. n spending almost everyday with my team.. specially sunil .. I love him.. I respect him.. yes I had a argue with him.but r we not normal people..?I shouted at him first time in 5 years .. itna to chalta hai bhai. we will sit n talk that where is the problem.. I love him as a artist as a human being.. he is like my elder brother.. why so much negativity all the time.. I respect our media.. there r some other serious issues which we need to focus. Is me n sunil's issue is so important n realted with the security of my country ..? We spend a lot of time together rather then our families .. n sometime it happens in family.. its our family matter.. we will sort this out.. zyada maze mat liya karoo.
