Diwali set to see Shah Rukh Khan vs Ranbir Kapoor at the Box Office, again in 2014

It must be deja vu for Farah Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir’s Sawaariyan had re’ased the same time as Farah and SRK’s Om Shanti Om. Now trade buzz is that SRK and Farah’s Happy New Year will release on the same day as Ranbir’s Jagga Jasoos directed by Anurag Basu.

Both the films are slated to release on Diwali 2014. Apparently Shah Rukh is keen to release it on Diwali as he feels HNY is a family entertainer while RK wants Diwali as his next biggie Bombay Velvet is on Christmas next year.

UTV is backing both the films so if everything goes according to plan, we can certainly expect some firecrackers next Diwali!
