Disney unveiled the title of the second instalment of Wreck-It Ralph 2 on Wednesday with a small 15-second long teaser.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will see John C Reilly, Sarah Silverman, and Jane Lynch reprise their voiceover roles of Ralph, Vanellope, and Calhoun, respectively.

Wreck-It Ralph will be escaping the arcade and travelling through the expansive universe of the internet.

The movie is directed by Rich Moore, who recently won an Oscar for Zootopia, in association with Phil Johnston.

At the CinemaCon, Moore said, "To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore. Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know—the internet—but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way."

Johnston added, "We’re so excited to be working with Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Fix-It Felix, and Sergeant Calhoun again, and we have new characters we look forward to the unveiling. At the centre of this film, as in the first one, is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, two once-outcasts, who in each other, found true friendship."

The movie is scheduled to release on March 9, 2018. This leaves a wide space open for sister company Pixar with Cars 3 and Coco set to release in 2017.
