Did you check out brand new synopsis for Marvel's 'Thor: Ragnarok'?

People waiting to know more about Thor's next adventures were treated by Marvel Studios to the synopsis of Thor: Ragnarok and a new set photo.

On Thursday night (IST), Marvel.com unveiled the details about the plot of third Thor movie.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!”

Directed by Taika Waititi of The Hunt For Wilder People, the new Thor movie will see Chris Hemsworth return as the Norse God who was missing from the action in Captain America: Civil War but was gracious enough to pay a visit to Doctor Strange during the mid credit scenes.

Sir Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, and Idris Elba will reprise their roles of Odin, Loki, and Heimdall respectively.

The cast is joined by Mark Ruffalo playing Hulk. Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, and Karl Urban are the new additions to Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie is set to release on November 11, 2017
