Director Abhishek ‘Gattu’ Kapoor had a temper tantrum of sorts at Khar Gymkhana on Sunday. The filmmaker, who works out there regularly, walked in with a guest. All members know that the entry fees for bringing in guests is Rs 400, but if members bring along a personal trainer, then they pay Rs 750. Gattu declared that his plus-one was a guest and that he paid for his entry.

Some time later, the gym supervisor noticed that the guest, instead of using the gym facilities himself, was actually training Abhishek, so he walked up to the director and pointed that he needed to pay extra for bringing in his own trainer. The filmmaker did not like being called out in front of other members and ranted that if the gym employed ‘decent’ trainers,  he wouldn’t have to bring one along. But when the staffer insisted he pay the full amount for the trainer, the award-winning filmmaker demanded to see the manager.

It being a non-working day, the manager was enjoying a sauna. As soon as he stepped out in the locker room, Gattu accosted him, but was told that if he had a problem with the management policy, he should write a letter addressing that and they would revert, but for now, he had to pay up. Hearing this, he stormed out. It is not quite clear if he paid the remaining Rs 350, which is the general price of a movie ticket.
