Deepika Padukone to wear 20kg armor for upcoming 'Bajirao-Mastani'

In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's up coming directorial, Bajirao Mastani, leggy-lass Deepika Padukone will be seen doing some sword wielding and for that she will reportedly wear a 20kg armour.

Bajirao Mastani is a story based on the life of Maratha Warrior Peshwa Baji Rao. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will play the lead roles. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Aditya Pancholi who will play the antagonist in the film.

This is not the first time the actress has to wear something heavy. In another Bhansali production, Ram-Leela, Deepika had to wear a ghagra weighing 30kgs.

For Bajirao Mastani, Padukone will not only wear this heavy armour but will also do some physically tough scenes. For an intense war scene, Deepika is taking lessons in sword fighting and martial arts.

The shooting of the movie has already started and Deepika will join the crew in Rajasthan on March 8.
