Deconstructing Haseena's look for Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor, who will be seen essaying Haseena Parkar’s role in the biopic based on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister is trying out clothes that are similar to the ones worn by Haseena. The actress and her costume designer Eka Lakhani have been going through all the clothes Haseena wore during the various stages of her life, and designing them accordingly. Eka says, “We were invited to her house by the family and we managed to see what she was like through her pictures. We designed the whole look and have kept it very real, the colours are different for each age and have got selected fabrics. Even for small elements like nose rings, we have gone to Mohammad Ali Road and picked up everything from hair clips to handbags. For chappals we went to the railway station. The Nagpada look (where Haseena stayed) comes across very clearly when you see the clothes.”
