Will & Grace star Debra Messing has shot down the rumours that NBC has ordered a 10-episode revival of the popular sitcom, saying there has been "nothing beyond talks."

The 48-year-old actress' comment came in response to Will & Grace guest star Leslie Jordan's recent assertion that a comeback was a done deal and would start shooting in the summer, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Sadly Leslie was wrong. Nothing beyond talks," the actress said on Twitter.

In October, NBC was in very early talks for a revival of the sitcom, which originally aired from 1998 to 2006 and starred Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally.
