David Bowie will release his new album 'Blackstar' in January 2016. The rock 'n' roll star is bringing the new album after a gap of two years.
The album has seven songs with single 'Blackstar' dropping on November 19. According to The Times, London, 'Blackstar' will be featured in Bowie's musical Lazarus, co-written by Enda Walsh. It will also be featured in the British crime drama The Last Panthers.
With 'Blackstar', Bowie continues the tradition of space-inspired tracks like, 'Earthling', 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars' and 'Space Oddity'.
The new album is expected to release on Bowie's 69th birthday, January 8, 2016.
