CONFIRMED! Abhay Deol and Diana Penty's 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi' to have a sequel!

The Abhay Deol-Diana Penty-starrer film Happy Bhaag Jayegi will soon roll with a sequel to be directed by Mudassar Aziz. The director has confirmed the development to a tabloid. He says, "I was working on another story when the idea of a sequel to Happy struck me sometime last September. I discussed it with Rai Saab (Aanand L Rai) who suggested I work on it some more and see what comes out of it. By October-end, I had a story which he really liked." 

He adds that it was the encouraging feedback from the audience for Happy Bhag Jayegi that prompted him to make a sequel. Besides Abhay and Diana, the rest of the original cast including Ali Fazal, Jimmy Shergill and Piyush Mishra have been retained for the sequel. Two new characters will also be introduced in the sequel.
