'Comicstaan' finale: Here's why the episode proved to be a laughter riot!

The high on entertainment series Comicstaan has come to an end, as the final episode of the show went on air on Friday. Contestant Nishant Suri emerged as the winner, while Rahul Dua and Prashasti Singh were announced as the first and second runner-ups, respectively in Comicstaan's the final episode.

The grand finale episode was shot at Opera House in Mumbai. Along with the finalists, the judges also gave rib tickling performances. Amazon Prime Video Original's Comicstaan has won hearts over with its high on laughter content. The series has been loved by the audience because of its unique and fresh take on comedy.

While the contestants did not leave any stone unturned to give the audience an authentic comedy experience. On the other hand even the judges gave amazing performances.

Comicstaan has garnered a phenomenal response which has resulted in the renewal of the series for a second season. Comicstaan brings together seven of India's best comedians -- Tanmay Bhat, Kenny Sebastian, Sapan Verma, Naveen Richard, Kaneez Surkha, Kanan Gill and Biswa Kalyan Rath.

All the judges were seen mentoring, and judging the budding talent, as they compete each week to win the coveted title. Finally, Rahul Dua emerged as the winner of the first seaon of the show.
