Cold war between Gurmeet Choudhary and Ali Fazal

Like their female counterparts, actors Ali Fazal and Gurmeet Choudhary, who starred together in Khamoshiyan, seem to be having a lot of simmering issues. Recently, Ali did mince words when he was asked to talk about Gurmeet. He didn't like the fact that Gurmeet was given more importance and said that Gurmeet was given more prominence while promoting the film as he had the advantage of being a TV actor who had a lot of fan following.

There seems to be alot of insecurity sparked off in one actor which got very obvious after he gave a recent interview in a leading publication where the actor. When Ali made these unsavoury remarks, Gurmeet chose to not respond. A couple of days later, Ali took to Twitter to apologise for the remarks as some of his fans had found the comments to be distasteful.

On hearing about this latest development, Gurmeet says, "I did read the interview as a co-actor friend sent it to me and I will not deny it is in very bad taste. I did get hurt as well as it's not something I imagined Ali would do. I am just quite upset and wonder why he said all this if he did and if he did not, then how did he get quoted on the same."
