Post Manish Paul's exit, Mad In India is being completely revamped. While some of the actors like Rehman and Khayali have been ousted, new actors have been brought on board. Chunky Pandey will be playing an important role in the show now. He will be the mediator between the audience and the actors on stage. "I will be like a bounce board. All the jokes will go through me. Even I am being made fun of," grins Chunky who wanted to be a part of the show since he appeared on it to promote Gang of Ghosts.
"It was like a mad house and I really enjoyed myself. I had told them I would love to be a part of it and once there was an opening they approached me," says Chunky who shot for it recently. Tell him there have been reports of it going off air soon and he says, "I have seen a lots of ups and downs in my career and one can always bounce back. The entire show is being revamped the entire show and the content is excellent." When asked if he will be like Navjot Singh Siddhu is on Comedy Nights With Kapil, he denies it.
"I actively participate in the show," he says adding that comparision is not fair. "I know it's because Sunil Grover has come from that show, but this is completely different." Krushna Abhishek is also expected to join the show for an episode, but the revamped show will be completely Chutki-centric.
