A judge has ordered Chris Brown to prolong his stay in a Malibu rehab for a further two months.

The rehab doctors blamed the R 'n' B singer's violent past on previously undiagnosed PTSD and bipolar disorder and say that he has been making great progress while becoming less impulsive, People Magazine reported.

A report reviewed by the judge disclosed that the 24-year-old singer was happy with the program however, Brown seemed disappointed by the decision in the court on Friday.

According to a letter from the facility treating Brown, continues to make great strides but the singer needs to continue intense individual, family and medical follow-up over the next year so he can sustain the changes.
