Chapter-1 of 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' reveals how Abhimanyu and Bindu bonded over 'Samosa and Chutney' when they first met!

The makers of Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Meri Pyari Bindu have unveiled the First Chapter of its five part trailer and it gives us a sneak peek into how Abhimanyu Roy (Ayushmann) first met and became friends with Bindu (Parineeti). Though, both the lead actors are missing from the first trailer, we don't quite miss them because we've already had a glimpse of them in the teaser and so it's refreshing to see the two cute kids, take us back in time.

The trailer begins with Abhimanyu narrating to us how the thunderstorm named 'Bindu' stealthily came into his life, in an old green ambassador car on a 'boring Tuesday'. This happened the same year when Kapil Dev and Team India had won the first cricket world cup for us. 

He goes on to share how, like every great Indian love story, his also began with samosa and green chutney that his mother had made to welcome their new neighbours. She gave him her headphones to make him listen to 'Aaiye Meherbaan' song and said, "This will change your life." Abhimanyu wasn't quite sure what she meant by that and what's going to change his life? The song? Those headphones? or Bindu herself?

While Abhimanyu was sure that he had got his best friend in her, but he still feels that Bindu was only after the green chutney. We already know that Bindu is an aspiring singer while Abhimanyu is a writer in the film that explores their relationship over a span of 30 years. The movie is all set to hit the silver screens on May 12.
