At the San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige introduced Brie Larson as the new Captain Marvel joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Since then Larson, Oscar-winner for her performance in Room, has been showered with love and acceptance as a new superhero from the fandom. She acknowledged the love and expressed her gratitude for the generosity.
Maybe, this is the reason she is taking her preparation time seriously.
In a recent post on Twitter, Larson can be seen wearing Captain Marvel costume while she reads Captain Marvel comic book.

FYI, the Alex Greenwald in the tweet is her fiance.
Moving on, the actress will play Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot. Originally in the comic books, the character of Captain Marvel was a man, Walter Lawson. After his death, Danvers took the baton. In the new series, Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey is the superhero in the series.
The movie is scheduled to release in 2019. There is still a lot of time for Larson to thoroughly prepare for the role.
