Calm down fans! Kapil Sharma is NOT MARRIED to Ginni Chatrath, here's the truth!

Kapil Sharma's fans didn't see it coming but the comedian-turned-actor says he is surprised by the reactions he has received on social media after he posted a picture of Ginni Chatrath and introduced her to the world as his lady love.

"Yes, I am getting married to Ginni and she is the love of my life," Kapil told Bombay Times. The comedian went on to reveal that he met her 10 years ago in college in Jalandhar and even his mother likes her.

He says he will mostly be getting married early next year. Kapil, who appeared in Koffee with Karan season 5 early this year, did not open up about his private life at all on the show. Guess he wanted to let the world know about his lady love in his own inimitable style. 

Right from the time Kapil had posted a picture with Ginni on social media, calling her his "wife" on Facebook, speculations have been rife about his marriage. Some reports claimed that he's secretly married to her while others alleged that it might be a publicity gimmick for his upcoming Bollywood film titled Firangi. But now that he's cleared the air, rumours can now rest in peace!
