Britney Spears gets $5000 crown tattooed on butt

Britney Spears now has a royal rear—the pop star paid a whopping 5000 pounds to have a tattoo artist ink a ‘Crown’ on her butt to avoid the prying lenses of photographers.

The singer was desperate to have her 12th etching, but was cautious of visiting a parlour in case paparazzi followed her.

Thus, she decided to pay extra to have her favourite artist visit her at home, and was delighted with the red crown he inked on her behind.

"Britney said she wanted a crown to convey the meaning that she's queen of her domain, the ruler of her life and castle," Stuff.co.nz quoted a source as saying.

The 28-year-old singer decided to use the Orange Ink Tattoo House, a favourite of stars including 50 Cent, Joel Madden and Travis Barker.

She rang up and the establishment was only too happy to help, but they asked Britney to pay extra for a personal visit.

The star was happy to hand over the 5000-dollar fee, and has told pals she will use the service again in the future.

Among the other tattoos Britney has are Hebrew letters on her neck, a fairy on her back, dice on her wrist and a cross on her pelvic area.
