Box Office Report: It's a disappointing start for Rangoon!

Vishal Bhardwaj's latest film Rangoon has hit theatres. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in leading roles. But the film has failed to set cash registers blazing on day one.

Given that it's a VB film, the audience for the film already becomes limited. But still, this is even lower than what the trade pundits had expected from the period saga. With occupancy as low as 10-15% right from the morning shows across the country, the film's opening might surprise the team.

It's impossible for the team to put up a great total, unless and until it picks up really well in the evening and late evening shows. But as for Day 1 numbers, the film is struggling.
