Vivacious, chirpy, jovial and lively are some of the words that completely get a new definition when we talk about this Gen-Y actress. Spunky and full of life as she is, Parineeti Chopra speaks from the heart!

Raising a toast to Laughs, Life and Love, Parineeti talks about chasing her dreams, falling in love with the right person, being the woman that she is and definitely her gluttony for Pizzas!

While we cornered the beautiful actress for a crisp chat, she spoke on her career, co-stars, competition and the formidable Chopra clan!

'Friendship has taken precedence over Competition'

Competition is certainly there because of course, I would love my films to do better than other films and they would want their films to work the best. So that kind of competition is definitely there. But friendship definitely has taken precedence over everything else. I would not be happy if somebody else's film flops because I really like them. We all chill together, we all party together, go to each other's houses. and eat out together! So I cannot ever imagine wishing somebody else's films to flop. technically, that would be great for me, actually but we do not think like that at all. It has happened only because we all are really good friends, more than being competitors.

'There are too many boys, so I don't repeat my co-stars'

So many boys are there, yaar! Why should I even repeat? It is better we work only once with each of them. There is no time to repeat (laughs). But yes, on serious note, it has not been a choice that I made but whenever I got these offers, it was always something new to look forward to. It's a cool thing but now that there are only so many boys around and we are just few films old, I guess now the circle will start rolling where we will get to work with each other again. for instance, I am working with Ranveer again in Kill Dil. even that is cool because we already have created an equity for a certain film. So when we come back together on screen, we will be received in a different way.

'If you are a Chopra, come join the club'

So you want us to get the boys from our family to join the industry also? (Laughs) We will bring all our brothers and other family members then. If you are a Chopra, come join the club! But seriously, I hope whoever comes does a good job. When I also came in, I wanted to give in my best so that I am not ridiculed. I did not ant people to say that Priyanka is such a good actress, Parineeti is such a bad actress. I did not want that to happen because that would have been the worst thing to happen. So I am glad that people take me as a decent actress today. So now whoever comes, they need to come and act well!

'Being an actress changed my life'

My life is completely changed. At least I never thought this was the life I would have. Even until three years ago I was trying to be a banker in London. So I never thought of it. But I have to admit that when I came back to India and when I started working in Yash Raj and when I decided to become an actress, I wanted this life. I wanted my films to do well. I wanted my acting to be appreciated. Basically I wanted to do well. So I am glad that the way my life is shaping up it is the way I had imagined after I decided to become an actress. But It’s completely changed everything that I think now, the way I behave, the kind of people I meet, what I do in my free time, everything has changed. I think my state of mind has changed in life. But it’s beautiful and I am enjoying it.
