Many a time, SRK and Vidya have spoken about how they would want to work together in a Bollywood film someday. But it's been over a decade and the desire to act together on screen has not really met its fulfillment. If the small teaser of their chemistry at an awards night is something to go by, a film with the duo should be crackling!
Asin:
Asin was very close to sharing screen space with SRK when she was being considered to play the female lead in Chennai Express. However, Deepika bagged the role. Given her smouldering chemistry with all the other biggies- be it Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar or Ajay Devgn, it's about time we see Asin paired opposite King Khan too!
Sonakshi Sinha:
Sonakshi is the ultimate desi girl. Earthy and rural, Shotgun Junior's attempts at playing the rustic woman has worked wonders for her. Taking a cue from her Dabangg avatar, it would be nice to see SRK and Sona romance each other in a serene village background! Now that SRK is already dodging urban roles to earthier roles like in Raees, who knows, this might just come true very soon!
Bipasha Basu:
Bipasha and Shah Rukh might be poles apart, but could compliment each other beautifully. For everyone who's forgotten, let us remind you: Bipasha and SRK had done a small dance sequence for the 'Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke' number from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. We'd like to see more of that magic!
Parineeti Chopra:
While Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor may not quite fit the bill, Parineeti Chopra from the Gen-Y breed of actresses could well hold her own in a role with Shah Rukh. After having tasted success with the young guns of Bollywood, it is about time that Parineeti does a big blockbuster film with a superstar. And who better than SRK to begin with Right?
