Bigg Boss 8: Pritam Singh becomes the new captain

Last week's eviction episode saw new captain Renee Dhyani leaving the show. but before she did, she dropped her deadly bomb on all the housemates except two, who she nominated as the contenders to be the new captain. 

Renee chose Pritam Singh and Praneet Bhatt as the two probable contenders to contest the captaincy task. Puneet Issar who emptied Pritam's bottle and ousted him from the captaincy task last week raised questions, stating that Pritam has already been given safety from nominations and that it will just mean ruining his already earned safety. 

Defying what everyone advised, Renee nominated Pritam and Praneet and the two go on a campaigning spree and housemates then vote for their respective choice through a ballot box election procedure. Pritam who is already immune from last week’s immunity task was keen on making Praneet the captain until yesterday. However after the announcement of the task Pritam has a change of heart and wants to play a fair game.

Eventually, he ends up becoming the new captain of the house and Bigg Boss introduces a new twist in the nomination process yet again.
