Despite HBO's best efforts, the fifth episode of Game of Thrones Season 6, 'Door', has leaked online just a day before it premieres on TV on Monday morning.

Viewers have reported that the episode was briefly made live on HBO Nordic. On Reddit, user Ozires wrote, "It's online right now, if you want to go and watch it, but they might remove it soon. Someone probably messed up by putting it there."

Viewers ripped the episode from the website and have shared it online. While the first few links circulating were low-quality videos, better quality ones have surfaced now.

Game of Thrones is the most pirated TV show on the internet. HBO has been cracking down on piracy by increasing the number of countries where the show premieres and airs simultaneously and clamping down on any spoilers from the cast and crew.

In 2015, the first four episodes of season five leaked just a day before the season premiere. As a result, for season six the channel did not provide reviewers with advance screeners. The only person who got to watch the show before anyone else was US President Barack Obama.

This season the leaks seem to be happening directly from HBO's website and before big episodes. Images were leaked online for episode one, hours before the season's premiere. Episode two, the one with the reveal of Jon Snow coming back from the dead, was also briefly online on the HBO website.
