Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee's grandson Ronodeep Bose CRITICAL post an accident

Bengali film and stage actor and poet Soumitra Chatterjee's grandson Ronodeep Bose had to undergo a brain surgery post a bike accident. Ronodeep was apparently riding a bike with a friend riding pillion, when his bike hit a wall near his home in New Alipore, reports TOI.

Bose is currently in a critical condition. The accident took place at around 2 am, added the report. A source was quoted saying, "Ronodeep looked back for a split second as he was crossing a road when his bike hit a cemented wall. His friend, Joy, who was travelling with him sustained multiple fractures, but is better than Ronodeep. The latter has sustained severe head injuries and is undergoing a major brain operation.” 

Reportedly, Bose is currently undergoing treatment at the Institute of Neurosciences and his family along with the members of his band are also there with him.  

Sources from the medical institute informed the daily that the operation has been successful and he's reacting well to medications. Though that is a positive sign, they will have to wait and watch for another 4 days to be assured that he's out of danger, added the report.
