Ashton Kutcher named highest earning TV star

Ashton Kutcher has been named the highest earning TV star. The No Strings Attached actor made it to the top by earning $100,000 per episode more than his Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer, to top the TV comedy earners list with $750,000 per show, Contactmusic reported.

Also, Mariska Hargitay beat The Mentalist's Simon Baker in the drama category with $400,000 salary per episode and America's Got Talent judge Howard Stern and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest became top earning reality TV star with 15 million dollars earnings per season. 

Ellen Degeneres remains at the top of the list in the daytime television category on the annual TV Guide Who Earns What countdown.
