The cast of Jazbaa visited Comedy Nights With Kapil recently and here's what they did on the show...
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is finally coming back to celluloid with Jazbaa and she's turning heads with her fashionista avatar at all the events and dos. Much like her other appearances, Aishwarya and Irrfan Khan visited the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil to shoot an episode that airs this week.
Here's the inside details:
Lawyers only, please!
While Kapil usually keeps a crowd selected from the public in the audience, this time he chose to be different. Keeping in mind the theme of the film and the character of a lawyer- Anuradha- which Ash plays in the film, the setting of the show was also decided. "Keeping the Jazbaa movie theme in mind everyone in the audience were professional lawyers, law student & lawyers’ family members."
Also there was a special game planned for them. "A unique handsome-with-brains competition was held between the lawyers present in the audience and Ash was the judge."
Ash ki Aadalat:
Much like Aap ki Aadalat, Aishwarya turned our female Rajat Sharma and grilled Kapil and his family. This was the highlight of the show. "Kapil in Aishwarya ki adalat? Sumona accused Kapil of flirting with other actresses, and always criticising her & her lips. Aishwarya took her case and defended Sumona, while Kapil was bombarded with questions."
Tribute to Ash!
Aishwarya has been part of two epic period films which went on to redefine the genre in Hindi cinema. Devdas and Jodha Akbar. Reminiscing her terrific body of work, Kapil's family dressed up as characters from her previous films. While Pankhudi was dressed up as Paro, Dadi was Chandramukhi. Khairatilaal turned up as Dev babu & Paresh chose to be Akbar. All in all, it was a fun moment on the sets!
Kajra Re!
In an interactive session with the audience, Ash called up a little kid and hia father on stage. Their request? To dance with our Bollywood beauty on her famous Kajra Re number. And Ash obliged. "Aishwarya danced on the song ‘kajra re kjra re’ with both the kid and his father. She was such a sport," our source tells us.
Celebrations galore
To celebrate the success of Kapil's recently launched movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Aishwarya and Kapil cut a cake to commemorate the occasion. "Ash also conveyed Abishek’s message to Kapil - Abhishek congratulated Kapil for the success of his movie."
