The big fat Bollywood wedding of the year is finally over, with notable personalities coming to bless the newlyweds - Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan and her husband Aayush Sharma. While the grand gala saw the who's who attending the party and some who were invited but could not make it to the lavish ceremony, there were also many people who didn't make the guest list.
The Bachchans:
Once upon a time in Bollywood, a warm relationship existed between the Khans and the Bachchans. But ever since Abhishek Bachchan's marriage to Salman's ex-flame Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, things haven't been the same. While the Bachchans try to avoid any awkward situation with Salman, there have been many times when AB Junior has been spotted sharing a light moment with Salman or just giving him a friendly hug.
Ranbir Kapoor:
Ranbir and Salman had a minor scuffle even before the former became an actor. But once he entered the industry, Salman was one of Ranbir's biggest supporters. Only till Ranbir decided to woo Salman's ex lady love Katrina Kaif! Katrina and Ranbir who are a couple now, were recently in the news for moving into their newly-found love nest together. Salman who still maintains a cordial relationship with Katrina, decided to give her beau Ranbir a miss while sending out invitations, while Katrina was spotted performing her Sheila ki Jawaani number at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on Tuesday night for Arpita's wedding.
Arjun Kapoor:
Now Arjun Kapoor not getting an invite might surprise a few, given his loyalty to the Dabangg Khan. Arjun, who also paid tribute to his favourite actor with a song from his upcoming film Tevar was also left out from the invitations. But this time, it was not because of Salman, but his sister Arpita! Arjun and Arpita allegedly dated sometime in the past and after their relationship went kaput, they haven't been on friendly terms. On her big day, Arpita did not want Arjun's presence and hence his name was gently struck off the invitation list.
Sonakshi Sinha:
Sonakshi Sinha's absence from the wedding raised many eyebrows too. The actress who got her big breakthrough, courtesy our Bhai, gave the wedding a miss. While people say that Sona had to miss Arpita's wedding for her busy promotional schedule for Action Jackson, we wonder if daal mein kuch kaala hai!
Vivek Oberoi:
Ever since his reported fallout with Salman, Vivek's career kept dipping and could never be resurrected. Salman has always given Vivek the royal ignore, be it at awards functions or events and when it came to his sister's wedding, Vivek must have surely been the first one to feature on the no-invite list.
John Abraham:
John Abraham and Salman had a fallout during their Rockstars concert in 2006. The two later amicably decided to let bygones be bygones. John being left out from the guest list might hint at things not being too well between the two actors.
