Arjun to be part of Global Citizen concert

Arjun Kapoor, who was one of the actors representing India at the first Global Citizen concert in New York, will be a part of the performance line-up at India's first such concert, reports a daily. The concert is headed by Coldplay, Jay Z, Demi Levato and The Vamps.
The concert is aimed at addressing poverty and education. The actor shared a picture with Parineeti Chopra on social media captioning it, "Say hello to my biggest fan ever @Parineeti Chopra. Prepping for an epic festival and looking forward to Saturday, November 19."

He is quoted saying, "As global Indian citizens, we should not underestimate the power of a digital platform. There are people who don't own a toothbrush but use a smart phone. The event will be telecast across India, which will make the initiative's message even more impactful."
