Arjun Kapoor shoots for a song in gurudwara

Arjun Kapoor recently shot for a song that is to be featured in his upcoming film Mubarakan. A portion of the song that’s filmed on him and Ileana D’Cruz was shot in a gurudwara at Chandigarh. What’s interesting about it is, it’s the first time that Arjun shot in a religious place. Not only that, after the shoot, the entire team had langar (food) that was served in the gurudwara.

Says Arjun, “As actors, we go wherever our work takes us. We shoot in different parts of the world and every place has its own vibe and energy. But shooting in a religious place was a first for me. Though shooting is generally a chaotic process, the minute I stepped inside a gurudwara, it took me away from all my worries. All the time that I spent there, I felt a certain kind of enlightenment and was at peace.”

The film has Arjun playing a double role, one of which has him essaying a sardar. It is also the first time that he will be sharing screen space with his uncle Anil Kapoor.
