While a few months back, Anushka hesitated to talk about her relationship with Virat Kohli, it seems the actress is now comfortable flaunting her new arm candy....
During the interactions for PK, when Anushka Sharma was quizzed about her relationship with Virat Kohli, she had clearly refused to talk about it. Not because she didn't want to talk about it but she knew what would follow. "I don't want this to grab headlines, honestly. I know it will if I talk about it. It's for everyone to say. I'm not accepting it nor am I denying it. It's evident from what I am doing. But I don't want a 24X7 press conference running in my life," she had shot back.
That was December, last year. She's been a part of three more films in between- NH10, Bombay Velvet and Dil Dhadakne Do- and has changed in a lot more ways. She's become more open about her boyfriend Virat Kohli and is more accepting about her relationship. Yet, she doesn't like people intruding into her personal space. "I am not here to tell anyone how many times we talk to each other in a day, when we meet, where we meet, nothing."
At the Vogue Beauty Awards on Tuesday night, Anushka walked in with Virat in tow. While at the Wimbledon, the two were sporting matching colours, at the awards function, the situation was a little different. Virat chose his staple black and white while Anushka beamed in a lime gown. When a leading channel asked her about it, she quipped, "I don't like too much colour. I like blacks, whites and grey so does Virat. So when we wore that, it looked as if we had done something." Not just that, the actress was rather in a happy mood and felt that the holiday trip with Virat was more of a respite. given that she had four back to back releases.
The couple walked hand in hand on the red carpet and Anushka quickly retorted, "He's my very, very good looking arm candy."
Right after this, Anushka will start shooting for Karan Johar's Ae dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
