Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh's 'Phillauri' witnesses a strong 30% jump at the box office!

Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh's Phillauri released this Friday and it has been recording good numbers at the box office. The film has been made at a limited budget and the producers will now start raking in profits from the film.

Phillauri has been made at Rs 21 crore and the makers already recovered Rs 12 crore from the satellite and music rights. And after a good day 1 where the film collected Rs 4.02 crore, the film grew well on Saturday at the box office as well.

The film jumped 30 percent over Friday to collect Rs 5.20 crore nett. North India markets grew significantly by 32 percent, thanks to the star power of Diljit Dosanjh. This family entertainer has collected 9.22 crore nett so far and looks set to post a big Sunday total as business grew in key multiplex territories like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.

With positive word of mouth pouring in for the family entertainer, Phillauri is set to have a solid run at the box office.
