The senior Bachchan shared a picture of toddlers Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni holding the hands of their mother Neetu Kapoor with their uncle Shashi Kapoor also present, meeting Bachchan on a film set. Bachchan captioned the picture "T 2491 - And that wide eyed little fellow is the Superstar of the day today ! Ranbir Kapoor .. !! what an actor !!"

The wide-eyed look on Ranbir Kapoor's face is the perfect indicator of his curiosity about cinema and his ascent into the top ranks of the industry. The picture comes in the wake of Kapoor's win for Entertainer of the Year at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards held yesterday.

Bachchan has on previous occasions expressed his awe and admiration for Kapoor as an actor and person. The two will be seen together, along with Alia Bhatt (who also won at the Lokmat Awards), in Ayan Mukherji's Dragon.
