The movie is an epic thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence and is set in the shadows of US-Mexico border gang wars. Speaking on the occasion Chopra said that the film was a result of his sheer passion.
"This is a film or this is a project or this is something that should tell all young people out there that whatever passion you have, any madness that you may have in your head that this is what you want to do, all I am going to tell you through 'Broken Horses' that its very much possible. It's absolutely and totally possible to be completely crazy, mad, follow your passion and finally put a film like 'Broken Horses' on your side," added the director.
The distribution and marketing of the film in India is done by Fox Star Studios. Actors Thomas Jane, Vincent D'Onofrio and Anton Yelchin will be seen playing the lead roles in the film.
While interacting with media persons on the occasion Khan said he was eagerly waiting to watch the movie. "I am happy to be present at the launch of Vinod's first crazy film. I give him my best wishes. There are many reputed and talented directors in Hollywood who have been praising this movie, including James Cameron. It is really that our Indian director has made a film which is appreciated. Even I am waiting eagerly to watch the film," said the 3 Idiots Actor.
The movie also stars María Valverde and Sean Patrick Flanery, and is slated for a world wide release on April 10.
