Amid political row, Pakistani actors Ali Zafar and Mahira Khan walk the ramp for Bollywood couturier

Pakistani actors Ali Zafar and Mahira Khan walked the ramp for Bollywood fashion-label, Diva'ni's recently introduced flagship store in Lahore. According to a report by the Dawn, Diva'ni showcased it's couture 2016 bridal collection, Bagh-e-Bahar, against the backdrop of the historic city of Lahore at the Haveli Barood Khana. All this happened in the wake of the controversy that has shaken up the relationship between India and Pakistan. 

Political wing MNS has called for a ban on Pakistani artists and have given them an ultimatum to leave India right away. Now, back in Pakistan, Ali and Mahira were seen walking the ramp for a Bollywood couturier. 

A stage, decorated with traditional rose petals and candles, was graced by a live performance from the maestro Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, followed by showcase of the brand's bridal-line, with Mahira and Ali as the finale celebrity showstoppers for the cinematic label.

The report further said that the Bagh-e-Bahar collection was crafted across 300 days by 1000 artists with more than 10 million stitches, which brings back the timeless Mughal era and golden period of Royal dynasties.
