She also clarifies that contrary to rumours, there has been no fallout with Salman Khan.

Sonakshi Sinha doesn’t mind her ten-day holiday in Phuket being cut short for work, and confesses that she might be turning into a workaholic looking at her packed schedule ahead. She also clarifies that contrary to rumours, there has been no fallout with Salman Khan.

You have been the face of Sohail Khan’s Celebrity Cricket League and the news is that you have been dropped...
My schedule is really packed and they understand that I will not be able to attend the matches, as I will be busy shooting for my films. We are like a family. I had to cut down my

10-day holiday to Phuket to just four days and strangely I did not mind it. In fact, on the fourth day, I started feeling restless.

Does that mean you are turning into a workaholic?
(Laughs) I might be. The fact is that I love my work and have no room for anything else in my life right now.

After matching steps with Prabhudheva in Oh My God! you recently shot for an item number Thank God It’s Friday for Sajid Khan, you seem to becoming a hot favourite for item numbers...
I did Go, Go, Go Govinda as it was a fun Janmashtami number, and who would not like to shake a leg with Prabhudheva? The current item number that I shot for is a 80’s disco number and has a retro feel to it. I got hooked onto it because Sajid said item toh hai but there is no skin show.

Are you averse to skin show even if the role demands it?
I can’t comment on how others operate. But, I have certain principles and I will not waver from them. Skin show just for attracting attention is a strict no-no for me. Also, the added cardio workouts that I got for a week while dancing for the item number has made me loose weight as I believe in loosing weight naturally.

So, will we see a new slimmer Sonakshi?
That’s for you to decide but till now the extra inches on my waist have not stopped offers from coming my way. Somewhere down the line, if you accept yourself, the world will too.

How will you juggle your work commitments?
I am a Gemini and have a short attention span, so I had rather juggle different things to keep them interesting. I have already shot for Lootera. I am shooting for Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Again and then will be seen in a western fusion look in Bullet Raja with Saif (Ali Khan). Rambo Rajkumar with Prabhudheva and Shahid (Kapoor) is also there along with Thuppakki remake. So yeah, my hands are pretty full.

What about your South project Shivam opposite Mahesh Babu?
Discussions are going on but let’s talk about this some other time when things are finalised.

Any resolutions for the year ahead?
The year has already started on a wonderful note. I also don’t plan things and let life happen...
