'All About That Bass' singer Meghan Trainor has no money

Singer Meghan Trainor's hit All About That Bass may have been a hit that sold more than six million copies worldwide and reached No 1 in 58 countries, but the singer claims to have gotten no money from her hit single yet.

The 21-year-old singer said that she was told that she would get a big cheque after nine months which will be in April, but until then, she's living off handouts from her record label, the Daily Star reported.

Trainor, whose debut album Title is expected to be a global hit. She has also worked on a track with One Direction's Harry Styles and added that though people think she's rich, she's still working to make a big purchase.
