Akshay Kumar makes TV actor Manish Goel's son's wish come true

For his ninth birthday when TV actor Manish Goel asked his son Aryaveer to list nine wishes, meeting Akshay Kumar was on top-of-his-list. Not only Akshay is his favourite actor, they share a common interest too — martial arts. Aryaveer is learning Taekwondo and has already earned red belt that is one level short of the black belt. Also, if in four months he wins the black belt, he will be the youngest to do so.

When the superstar agreed to meet Aryaveer, the little boy’s joy knew no bounds. Says Manish, “Being a doting father I wanted to make his wish come true. I asked a common friend to request Akshay for a meeting. Four days ago, he called and told me to come with Aryaveer on the sets. When Aryaveer came from school and I told him we are going to meet Akshay. He enthusiastically got ready in 10 minutes and we were on our way.” When they reached, Akshay was giving a shot, but as soon as he was done, the Khiladi met Aryaveer, who brought cupcakes for the actor.

Akshay, as we all know, is very good with kids and he spent time with Aryaveer talking to him about his school, friends and karate.

The actor even told him that the next time they meet will be when Aryaveer wins the black belt! “Now Aryaveer is more than motivated to do it,” smiles Manish.
