The wedding bells may be ringing loud and clear, but the would-be bride Soha Ali Khan seems in no mood to prolong the celebrations. Apparently, after marrying her long-time beau Kunal Khemmu, Soha will almost immediately get back to work. "I am taking a week-off," she laughs. However, the couple will later go on a vacay.
Soha and Kunal got engaged in Paris in July last year where Kunal proposed his lady love with a ring. The wedding, to be held on coming Sunday, will be a private affair with only immediate family and a few close friends attending the event at their Khar residence. She seems to be treading big brother Saif's path as far as registered marriage is concerned. However, looking at the excitement in the Khan-Tagore parivar, a 'simple wedding' seems to be a wishful thinking. Saif and Kareeena Kapoor's wedding too was a simple affair, but with a grand reception at Pataudi.
And mom Sharmila is ready with a list of suggestions for the new glowing bride, "She will be acquiring more responsibilities. Till now she was only coping with work, now she will have to cope with a husband and tomorrow most probably children... She will have to learn to divide her time between many more things, while giving time to herself too," says the protective mom while Soha chips in, "But women are very good at multi-tasking,"
While attending a scholarship event for a shampoo brand, Sharmila emphasised on the bond between mother and daughter. Soha also tweeted a picture of herself and her mom and wrote, "Celebrating educating the girl child with my favourite teacher - my mother!" She also treated her mom with a loving kiss, at the event. Soha will be working on Ghayal sequel and 1984 from next month. Here's wishing the lovely couple a lifetime of blissful togetherness.
