A web series inspired by IPL

Farhan Akhtar’s company is readying a web series based on the Indian Premier League. Interestingly, two characters will be inspired by Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia who co-owned a cricket team.

Richa Chadha and Angad Bedi will play the roles inspired by Preity and Ness, reports a tabloid. However, the series will concentrate mainly on betting and match-fixing. Richa is prepping for the role of a bubbly girl. The tabloid quotes a source saying Richa is watching old cricket matches to find out what lured Preity to invest in a sporting business.  

The series will be directed by critic-turned-directed Karan Anshuman.
