Zindagi Aa Raha Hu Main is a concept single by the young and young of heart for the country's youth. Actor Tiger Shroff's brainchild, it was brought to fruitition by the minds of choreographer-producer Ahmed Khan, T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar, composer Amaal Malik, lyricist Manoj Muntashir and singer Atif Aslam.

The genesis of the single began as a 'give back to the fans' gesture by the one-film-old Tiger. "After my first film Heropanti, I got a lot of love from the children, the youth. And they are the people I derive inspiration from. This song is a celebration of life, energy and positivity in a non-preachy manner", he shares.

He discussed the idea with Ahmed early on. The two share a history (Khan choreographed two songs -- Aa Raat Bhar and The Pappi Song -- in Tiger's debut effort. They met Bhushan, gave him the run-through, and followed through, when he suggested the one-liner "Zindagi Aa Raha Hu Main" in consultation with lyricist Manoj "almost instantly".

Atif coming on board was due to Ahmed, who Amaal revealed are good friends and are quite close. The extremely choosy singer, now free from his contract with another label, was looking for the right track to lend his voice to. This will be the first time the Pakistani singer will collaborate with Bhushan, Tiger and Amaal. It's a collaboration, he says he "felt great to be a part of". What's more, Atif reveals, he shakes a leg in the video to this single, which took some convincing by Ahmed. He also tells us that he "changed the composition a bit. The falsettos are there from my side" when asked if any of his inputs made it to the final track.

Shared connections abound here -- and there are many -- and this makes it something of a close-knit effort. Shares Tiger, "Rangeela was Ahmed's Sir's debut starring my dad (Jackie Shroff) and my first film (Heropanti) was with him". Atif and Ahmed are friends, while Amaal and Tiger know each other since their school days and also worked together on Tiger's tribute video to Michael Jackson. Amaal worked with Ahmed on his production Ek Paheli Leela, a film whose music released on Bhushan's music label, for which Amaal has given two big hits -- Sooraj Dooba Hai (Roy) and Naina (Khoobsurat).

Zindagi Aa Raha Hu Main is a high energy track by all accounts, is "non-preachy" and releases sometime next week. Expect to see "a lot of dubstep, popping, breakdancing, hiphop, it's a big mix," shares Tiger, "You never know what to expect next". A sentiment Atif echoes. "I've never danced in any of my videos", he says, adding, "I had only 15-20 minutes to prepare and kept asking Ahmed if he was sure he wanted me to dance". And he did this single because he "wanted to change that perception about myself that I'm a very romantic person. Zindagi is a completely electronic track. People haven't heard me like this".

Singles are getting a big platform, says Amaal. "Zindagi... is an entire graph about life with a simple vibe urging youngsters to seize the day". And it was in 24 hours that he and lyricist Manoj cracked the song and "put together the structure in two days. I'm still working on programming." The genre? You can call it country-EDM. It's a bit of both something like rock stars are doing with the biggest EDM producers. It's like a journey song and is perfect for road trips. But it also has that jump to it." Unlike most singles we've seen, this one has a story and gradual progression.

Singles are something Bhushan says, will be a continuing trend with his label in the non-film space and that many actors and singers are approaching him with ideas. But, he says, "our next single will be with Yo Yo Honey Singh in a month's time. He should be better by then."
