A nostalgic Huma steps on the pedal!

Huma Qureshi is as bindaas in real life as she is in her films. During her recent visit to Lucknow not only did she sample the way of life first hand by trying some mouth-watering kebabs in older haunts of the city but also got down to ride a cycle rickshaw all by herself!

Huma got all nostalgic when she spotted a rick in the market. She requested the rickshaw man to lend it to her for a quick spin. She enjoyed the ride so much that she decided to take the local experience and flavour of Lucknow a step forward by arriving at the venue of her event on the very same cycle rickshaw that made the crowds roar!

Being a Delhi-girl at heart, Huma explains her sudden spurt of inspiration, “Cycle rickshaws are seen in the older parts of Delhi where you can easily ride them into the heart of crowded gullis and bylanes. They have their own old-world charm. Sadly Mumbai doesn’t have cycle rickshaws. So when I went to Lucknow and saw these beautiful cycle rickshaws, I instantly thought of giving one a spin!”
