Sidharth Malhotra eyes a desi comedy for his next

Kapoor & Sons has received a unanimous thumbs-up from the audience worldwide. And Sidharth Malhotra now has two films lined up immediately — Baar Baar Dekho with Katrina Kaif that releases in September and another action flick with Fox co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez. And Sid’s almost decided on what his third film will be. 

Sid shares, “I have been reading a few scripts and there’s one film I have been offered and I quite like it.” Although he refuses to divulge too much details, he reveals, “It’s actually a desi comedy where I will get to go back to my roots in Delhi and play a proper Delhi-wallah.” 

He does add that he hasn’t signed anything but then again, this is something that he’s liked among all the offers he’s received. Guess after a romantic film and an adrenaline pumping action flick, a desi comedy might just be the perfect getaway for Sid!
