JEE Main 2021 March session begins tomorrow, NTA releases COVID-19 guidelines -What's allowed, what's not

JEE Mains 2021 March Session will begin tomorrow, from July 20, 2021. NTA has released a list of COVID-19 guidelines and a dress code that candidates have to follow while giving the exam. Candidates who will be giving the examination can get more details from the official website-jeemain.nta.nic.in. The examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency, NTA.

The JEE Main 2021 aspirants will be able to download their hall ticket through the website- jeemain.nta.nic.in, once released.

The third session of JEE Main 2021 entrance would be held between July 20 and July 25 while the fourth edition is scheduled to take place from July 27 to August 2.  

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the number of examination centres has been increased by NTA from 660 to 828.

JEE Mains: COVID-19 Restriction

Face masks will be provided to all the candidates.

In addition to the common places, furniture & fixtures, all the computers and seats will be sanitized before and after the exams. Any computer set used in one shift will not be used in the next shift.

To avoid the crowd at the examination centre entrance due to candidates reaching together, they will be given staggered time slots for reporting. The staggering of time slots will be done to ensure uniform distribution of candidates across rooms during entry at the examination centres.

The registration process at the examination will be contactless.

Candidates will be guided to their allocated seats, ensuring that social distancing is maintained.

The examinations rooms/halls where the examination will be conducted will have open windows and fans for proper air circulation.

All the candidates who are appearing in the examination centre would be seated following social distancing norms.

 

JEE Mains: Dress Code

Candidates should not wear any metallic items.

Candidates should not wear any kind of ornament or jewellery such as a nose ring.

Any kind of ring, goggles, or bracelet is not allowed.

Candidates should wear light and comfortable clothes which will not create any kind of discomfort during the examination,

Candidates will not be allowed to wear footwear or shoes with thick soles. 

Candidates should not wear garments that have large bottoms in the examination halls
