GATE 2018: Registration ends today at 8pm; check www.gate.iitg.ac.in

The online application process for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2018 examination will end today at 8pm. 

Candidates should complete the registration process before 8pm on GOAPS website www.gate.iitg.ac.in.

The exam will be held on February 2018 and the results will be declared in March 2018.

Follow these steps to complete the application process:

1. Register in GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The candidate's personal details must be filled and a password should be set.
2. Login to the GATE 2018 GOAPS website with the registration credentials
3.  These details must be entered by the candidates:  Address for Communication, Eligibility degree details, College name and address with PIN code, GATE 2018 paper (subject), Choice of GATE 2018 examination cities, Photograph, Image of candidate's signature etc.
4.  After fulfilling the details, click "Save and View Application" button.
5. Click "Submit and Proceed to Payment" button
6. The candidates need to pay the fees of the exam
7. Complete the application process

The candidates applying on the last day are exempted from mandatory email and mobile  number verification.

"Due to last minute rush, the mandatory verification of email and mobile number (before submitting the GATE application form) is relaxed. You will be able to submit the application form now without verifying the email address and mobile number. Also make the payment before due date. However, you need to verify the email and mobile number later by login to GOAPS," the official website said in a statement.
