GATE was conducted on February 3 and 4 and February 10 and 11 for 23 subjects. This year IIT Guwahati had the charge to conduct the exam.
The results of GATE 2018 will be announced on March 17 at the GOAPS portal.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all-India examination jointly conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science on behalf of the HRD Ministry and National Coordination Board (NCB).
Approximately 10 lakh candidates have appeared for the GATE 2018.
GATE is a gateway to postgraduate admission and PSU jobs for engineering graduates. It is a single online paper examination with a time duration of three hours. The question paper consists of 65 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
The questions are both multiple choice questions and numerical answer type questions (formula based solutions).
Qualifying this examination enables the candidate to seek admission to or receive financial assistance to master’s programmes and direct doctoral programmes in engineering/technology/architecture and doctoral programmes in relevant branches of science in all institutions supported by MHRD and other government agencies.
GATE 2018 scores will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of results.

2. Click on http://appsgate.iitg.ac.in on homepage
3. Enter enrolment ID or email address details to login.
4. GATE 2018 answer keys will be displayed.
5. Now check and download subject wise question paper and answer key
