CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 date sheet updates: Check details here

Students who are to appear for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 are yet to get any schedule for the exams even though it has been announced that the Class 10, 12 board exams will be conducted in May. While the CBSE or the Ministry of Education are yet to release any date sheet for the exams, several states such has Maharashtra, Bihar, Karnataka and West Bengal have already released the date sheets for their respective state board exams.

Notably, several states have allowed the schools to reopen from this month after remaining closed for around 10 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In such a situation, students are also expecting the date sheet to be released soon so that they can start preparing for the CBSE Board exams. The board is expected to make the announcement soon and after that, students can prepare for their Class 10, 12 Board exams accordingly.

Recently, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, had announced that the CBSE board exams will commence on May 4, 2021 and will continue till June 10. The results of will be declared by July 15, 2021, he had said.

Pokhriyal also shared important updates with students regarding the syllabus for JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 examinations. While interacting with students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pokhriyal said that for JEE 2021 and NEET 2021 exams the students will have to study the whole syllabus. The Minister, however, reiterated that the students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE Board exams. 

Meanwhile, CBSE has also refuted rumours claiming that the students will need only 23 per cent instead of 33 per cent to pass both CBSE exam 2021 Class 12 and CBSE exam 2021 Class 10.

State Board Exams 2021: Check Detailed Schedule

Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government has announced that the Maharashtra state board Class 12 exams will be held from April 23 to May 29, while the exams for Class 10 will commence from April 29 and go on till May 31.

Bihar

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has scheduled board examination for Class 12 students from February 1 to February 13 while Class 10 exams will be held from February 17 to 24.

Delhi

Schools in the national capital opened last week and the state government has announced that the process of practical examinations, internal assignments, and project work for Classes 10 and 12 of the state schools. 

West Bengal

In West Bengal, the Class 10 state board exams will be held between June 1 and 10 whereas the Class 12 Board exams will be conducted from June 15 to June 30. It may be noted that students in classes 6 to 9 will be promoted automatically.
