Probable candidates who want to appear for the recruitment exam of Probationary Officers at the State Bank of India need to apply before the deadline.
The candidates who are planning to appear for the exam to get selected as a Probationary Officer (PO) at the State Bank of India (SBI) need to finish their application and submit it before the deadline.
The application process started on November 14 and the last date is December 4. All the interested candidates would find the details of the application on the official website of the SBI — sbi.co.in.
By clicking on the notification of the SBI PO recruitment, they would be able to fill their application by logging in through their credentials at ibpsonline.ibps.in.
The admit cards will be available in the third week of December. The SBI is scheduled to conduct the preliminary examinations online on December 31, followed January 2, January 4, and January 5.
The selection will be carried out in three steps, on the basis of a preliminary examination, main examination and GD/interview.
Out of the 2000 PO vacancies at the SBI, 810 vacancies are available for General candidates, 540 for Other Backward Class (OBC), 300 for Scheduled Caste, 200 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 150 for Scheduled Tribe candidates.
All graduates from a recognised university or with any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the central government between the age of 21 and 30 years as on April 1, 2020, are eligible to apply and appear for the bank exam. The age restrictions are eased for the reserved categories.
The starting salary for a PO at the SBI is Rs 27,620. As for the application fee, it is fixed at Rs 750 for the General, EWS, and OBC candidates. It is free for other reserved categories.
