The answer keys of the recently held Common Admission Test or CAT 2020 will be released soon on its official website. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore held the CAT 2020 exam all over the country successfully on November 29.
Going by the past observations, the CAT answer keys are released within two days of the exam. Since it's been two days after the exam now, the answer keys are likely to be released anytime soon.
The candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check the provisional answer keys for all the three slots, when they are out, at iimcat.ac.in.
Around 2,27,000 candidates appeared for the CAT 2020 exam, which was held in a revised pattern this time.
After the answer keys are out, candidates can raise objections against the answers. The window for doing so stays open for three to four days. Candidates can raise objections online and pay the fees for the same. The rule is such that no such pleas or objections can be entertained once the window is closed.
While the candidates will have access to the answer keys soon, the results of the CAT 2020 will be declared by the second week of January in 2021, as per the information available.
The CAT 2020 score will determine the admission to various IIMs and other management colleges and institutes in the country. It is to be noted that the CAT scores remain valid only for a year.
The institutes will later release the percentile requirements or cutoffs separately for admission. Qualification through the CAT exam is not enough to get admission into an IIM or any other management institute. Different institutes set different parameters from time to time for admission.
