A woman was duped of Rs 1,20,000 after two youths, on the pretext of helping her at an ATM in Sector 50 of Noida, exchanged her debit card. According to the police, victim Shakuntala Dhyani, a resident of Sector 77, had gone to withdraw money from the State Bank Of India ATM in Sector 50 on March 3. There, on the pretext of helping her, two youths exchanged her debit card and then misused it to withdraw money from her account.

"When I went inside the ATM, two youths were already there. They told me they were unable to withdraw money, so they were standing inside to see whether I could withdraw. As soon as I inserted my debit card, it got stuck inside the machine. Then they offered to help me. I don't know when they exchanged my card,"Dhyani said.

Police registered a case against the two unknown youths on Saturday.
