Vijay Goel meets Kailash Satyarthi, seeks support for BJP's developmental work

Former Delhi BJP president and MoS Parliament Affairs and Statistics and Programme Implementation Vijay Goel met Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi on Saturday, and sought support for BJP's developmental works during the last four years.

Goel visited Satyarthi's Alknanda residence and discussed various policies and achievements of Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre on completion of four years for about an hour. He had presented a booklet Saaf Niyat Sahi Vikas to the Nobel Laureate.

Goel said that Satyarthi will extend his constructive support to the government.

During the discussion, Satyarthi had appreciated the various developmental works of the Narendra Modi-led government and urged Goel to work more on issues of child trafficking on fast track mode.

Goel and Satyarthi also discussed issues relating to slums. Satyarthi appreciated the work done by Goel while he was the Union sports minister, especially on 'Slum Daud' programme. Satyarthi urged him to give more attention to the slum issues.

Satyarthi said he was impressed with the works of the RSS and said he has attended many programmes of the organisation.

Chairman, Standing Committee of South MCD Shikha Rai and Subhash Bhadana, local corporator also accompanied Goel.

Goel met the Nobel Laureate as part of the BJP’s campaign to reach out to one lakh eminent personalities across country to apprise them of Modi government’s achievements.
